The Graham County (G)eographic (I)nformation (S)ystems Department uses ESRi's ArcGIS suite of products to integrate data from many different sources.  The information we gather or create is then stored in our enterprise Geodatabase for safe keeping and sharing.  With the GIS tools we manage, analyze and display many forms of spatial (geographic) data.  We can easily use data from different sources in the same map to compare and analyze information.  "Data driven maps" is a good descriptive phrase for GIS.
