The Fines / Fees and Restitution Enforcement Program (FARE) is a statewide initiative of the Arizona Judicial branch. The program was established to hold offenders accountable for financial obligations owed, to assist in the enforcement of court orders, and to increase collections in the Arizona Court system.

Delinquent Debts
The following have been implemented by statute to collect delinquent debts owed to the court.
Arizona Lottery Winnings Interception A.R.S §5-525. Allows the court, to intercept Arizona Lottery winnings of $600 or more, to collect delinquent debts of at least $100.
Arizona Tax Refund InterceptionArizona State Legislature allows the Arizona court system to intercept Arizona State Income Tax refunds, if an outstanding balance of $41 or more, is owed. A taxpayer whose refund has been intercepted, may call the DSO Interactive Voice Response (IVR) in the Phoenix Metropolitan area at 602-452-3210 or toll free at 877-435-3829.
Traffic Ticket Enforcement Assistance Program (TTEAP). Places a hold on vehicle registration renewal for a vehicle owned or co-owned by an individual who is delinquent in paying court fines or penalties for civil or criminal traffic violations. Once the delinquent balance is paid in full, the TTEAP hold will be lifted. A.R.S. §§28-1631 through §§28-1636.
